PP(Polypropylene)
Classification
- Plastic
Feature
Polypropylene (PP) is built up by the chain-growth polymerization of propylene. It has mechanical strength and chemical resistance. PP is widely used for packages, films, automobile parts and construction parts because of its formability. Its main disadvantages are its low-adhesiveness, low-weather ability and low heat-resistance. Recently, because public concern about environmental issues is growing, PP is used as substitute for PVC. PP with TPO co-extrusions are also widely used in various industries.
