This polyamide tube is not an oil-derived but a plant-derived engineering plastic tube.
This nylon tube is made from castor oil that is distilled from castor beans.
It has better properties than Nylon6 and Nylon66 tubes.
Features
- The plant-derived polyamide tube can be used at temperatures ranging from - 40 ℃ to 130℃.
- The specific gravity (1.03 g/cm3) of this plant-derived polyamide tube reduces the weight of products.
- The plant-derived polyamide tube has excellent flexibility and doesn’t whiten when it is bent.
- The plant-derived polyamide tube has excellent chemical resistance; therefore, it is used for making car hoses, machines, sewage pipes, gas pipes, etc.
- Continuous use is possible at high temperatures ranging from 90ºC to 100ºC.
- The plant-derived polyamide tube retains its properties at temperatures lower than –40℃.
Applications
The plant-derived polyamide tube is used for making fuel tubes, air tubes, industrial cooling hoses, etc.
